SS Flexible Hose or SS Bellow Hose is made up of stainless steel with angular corrugation that makes the hose extremely flexible. It is light weight, highly resistant, extremely flexible and a wide operating temperature range from -200°C to +800°C. Such properties give an added advantage to the hose and thereby has a wide range of applications.
SS Bellow hose or SS Flexible hose has a series of advantages that makes it stand out. The braiding on SS Bellow makes it durable and protects from damage. The hose is in corrugated design and that helps it to be extremely light weight and flexible. Though with these advantages, we provide a layer of braiding for the hose to be able to withstand pressure and its safety. This increases the life of the hose.
Braiding
When pressure is applied on the hose, it tends to elongate and expand. The design of the hose being corrugated. Keeping in mind the flexibility we provide a layer of braiding on the hose. The braiding is not necessarily just one layer, it can be more too depending on the pressure.
To restrain the elongation of SS Bellow, the external stainless steel wire braiding is provided. It increase the ability of the hose to take pressure and yet maintain its flexibility to an extent. Usually the braiding provided is of grade SS 304, we can though provide special braiding on request.
The more layers of braiding is applied, more pressure the hose can withstand the pressure but there will be a subsequent loss in flexibility.
